Once in a blue moon

So tonight we are going on the Full Moon Hike in North Park. It will be a lot colder than our last hike, but still should be a great time. We needed to get new batteries for our flashlights, not sure we will need them with the amount of moonlight the moon gave off last night we may be fine without them, but don’t want to take any chances..

So I decided to take a trip to Target and Costco. I needed to return some items at Target. While I was there I decided it was time for a new purse. The one I had for winter had a short strap which was fine in Florida, but it’s driving me crazy here because it won’t stay on my shoulder with my jacket on, and I need to wear my jacket. I also decided to pick up a new hat and headband since the winter items were on sale. I have yet to find a hat I really like, so I’m going with form over fashion until then.

While I was at Costco getting the batteries and other items that I already had on the Costco list, I decided to splurge on me a bit. I purchased a new book, I haven’t finished the book I’m reading, but hey it won’t go bad…

While I was walking up to the front of the store I walked past the flower cooler. I typically don’t purchase flowers for myself. Every once in a blue moon I will, well I guess since it is a blue moon that must be why I decided to get myself these roses. I love roses. They are my favorite flower. This bunch was so pretty and different from all the rest that they had. It looks like spring, so why not!flowers

Did anyone get to see the lunar eclipse? We didn’t. It happened here too low on the horizon as the moon was already setting. Oh well, at least we will see the blue moon/blood moon tonight
